I forgot to mention that I'm linking up to Fab Five Friday over at Upward Not Inward. :)
Of all the days to talk about
any five fabulous things that happened this week, today is the day I desperately NEED to remember them, but I'm in such a blah mood that I don't WANT to do it. Well, too bad, Self, you're doing it. So suck it up, sista!!
1. Handing my life over to Jesus last Sunday rates numero uno in my book of fabulous things that happened this week
and of all time! Big deal. Huge deal. Huge! (Name that movie?)
2. I've almost caught up on my bible plan this week. Holla!!
And by almost, I mean I'm now only 2 weeks behind instead of 4. Boo ya!!
3. I babysat the world's prettiest 3 and a half month old last night. And she was perfect!!
 |
And yes, she was only fussy when I wasn't holding her....so I held her the whole time. Shucks. ;)
|
4. I got my craft on. I had a wild hair to make a fairy garden last year, and I bought the stuff and then never once did anything with it. Shame on me. So...I, with a little help from my brother, worked on it. Voila!
 |
| Oh and I changed it from a "fairy" garden to a "gnome" garden. Grumpy gnomes are more our speed anyway. Pretty cute, right? It's inside right now, but once the weather is decent, I'll glue this stuff diz-own and put it outside. I have the perfect spot. Oh, and random side-note...Bonnie keeps trying to eat the little mushrooms. She is such a weirdo. Of course, she eats poo, so her standards....not the best. |
 |
| I think Easter may be my favorite Holiday to decorate for. Also, this is the first year that Easter will mean more to me than an excuse to eat chocolate, so I'm doubly excited. :) Anywho, you can't really tell, but there's this cute little chicky on the top tier that actually chirps if you hold it in the palm of your hand. Unsurprisingly, Bonnie is dying to eat it. But I'm trying to acclimate her to it in a good way in case we do ever get really chickens. I'm not sure my heart (or stomach) could handle it if I had to witness my sweet puppy devouring a live animal. But again, she eats poo. Possibly her own poo. Standards - rock bottom. |
5. Every day my husband makes me laugh is fabulous in my book. Oh, and it happens every single day, so how lucky am I?
 |
| Yeah - Tony was making tea and talking to me at the same time. Instead of filling the sugar caniser, he dumped all the sugar into the actual tea pitcher. I just wanted photographic evidence that he, too, makes oopsies occasionally. Haha! |
I hope everyone has a weekend as fabulous as mine is going to be. Try not to be jealous, but I'll be enjoying the
Bassmaster Classic in Tulsa with my one and only. All. Weekend. Long.
Help!!
Name that movie.....uh I am thinking my best friends wedding....
ReplyDeleteSo close. Julie Roberts is right, but I was actually referencing Pretty Woman. And it wasn't "big deal", it was "big mistake"...huge. I'm a total dork. :)
DeleteLinking in from Fab Friday. Great to read the gifts. And you are right if we feel down - look up - Jesus is the way. And then you will feel up when you were down. :)
ReplyDeleteBlessings to you today,
Janis
